About the writing program for at risk young women- Paula H. Callahan was a writer. She believed in the power of writing to influence the development of the minds of young people. Prior to her death from breast cancer, Paula had planned to develop and to lead writing programs for groups of at risk young women. The Paula H. Callahan Memorial Fund is dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer and also to sponsoring writing programs for at risk young women.
